THE HUMAN RACE

Get out of bed, see your
face,
Primp and prep for the human
race;
Apply the makeup to you your
eyes,
Work and stress until you
die;
Skip your breakfast, rush and
hurry,
They feed you fear, they feed
you worry;
Force a smile, choke down
lunch,
Play their games, take their
punch;
Sit in traffic, cuss and
fret,
Make your money, drown in
debt;
You're feeling like you just
can't win,
Yet do it all again and
again.
This poem is dedicated to everyone who knows in their heart that there are other ways to live and that anything we want in life is possible if we want it, know it, and live it. Define your dreams and they are but yours.
